Pregis®, a global leader in protective packaging solutions, has announced significant advancements in the sustainability of its Pregis EverTec™ mailers.

The new enhancements include the introduction of paper certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) standard. This certification guarantees that the paper used in Pregis EverTec Cushioned and Non-Cushioned Mailers comes from forests managed to conserve water quality, biodiversity, and wildlife habitat, supporting Pregis's environmental, social, and governance commitments.

Additionally, Pregis has integrated EverTec Cushioned and Non-Cushioned stock mailers into its Inspyre™ brand portfolio. As a member of 1% for the Planet, Pregis donates 1% of Inspyre product revenues to support the Uzima Clean Water Mission, underscoring its dedication to global environmental initiatives through charitable contributions.

“Our commitment to using SFI® certifiably sourced paper in our EverTec Mailers is a testament to our ongoing commitment to prioritizing sustainability across our portfolio,” said Ryan Wolcott, Chief Sustainability Officer for Pregis. “The incorporation of SFI®-certified paper, as well as our new line of Pregis EverTec Inspyre Mailers, are just the first new advancements we’ll be introducing in order to further our sustainability journey.”

EverTec Mailers are robust yet lightweight packaging solutions that significantly minimize material waste. They also reduce the need for corrugated boxes and improve distribution efficiency. Importantly, EverTec Mailers offer consumers a convenient curbside recyclable option, balancing environmental responsibility with functional performance for brands.

These sustainable innovations demonstrate Pregis’s ongoing commitment to redefining packaging in a way that supports both environmental sustainability and the practical needs of consumers and businesses alike.
