Mika Kekki has been appointed to serve as the interim Executive Vice President (EVP) of UPM Communication Papers business area, effective August 1, 2024.
He will assume this role in addition to his current position as EVP of UPM Plywood business area.
This interim appointment comes as UPM continues its search for a permanent EVP for the Communication Papers business area. Antti Jääskeläinen, the current interim EVP of Communication Papers and EVP of UPM Raflatac, will be leaving UPM at the end of July 2024 to become the President and CEO of Posti Group Oyj, a Finnish logistics and distribution company.
