On behalf of the Program Committee for the 2024 PACWEST Conference, we invite you to express your interest in delivering a technical presentation at our upcoming conference.
In order for your presentation to be considered, we ask that you submit the following:
- Title of your presentation
- Abstract/summary
- Authors' name(s)
- Affiliation(s)
- Contact information
Please send by March 8, 2024. (Note that a full written paper is not required at this time.)
Notification of presentation acceptance will be sent to each individual during the last week of March. If your submission is accepted, we request that you register for the conference in a timey manner. (All presenters must be registered attendees.)
Technical Sessions will be on May 30 & May 31:
- 2 days (am/pm sessions) for technical presentations from mills, suppliers, researchers, and students
- awards ceremony on May 31
All presentations will be judged with awards in the following categories:
- Best Technical Presentation (Mill Paper) - The HR MacMillian Trophy
- Runner-up for full length presentation (open to consultants & researchers)
- Best Supplier Presentation
- Best Novice Presentation
- Best Student Presentation
Presentations are 20 minutes followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. Supplier presentations are 5 minutes.
