Sustainable forestry practices will not only benefit the environment but also provide economic opportunities for generations to come.

Nova Scotia is covered by around 75 per cent or four million hectares of forest, which supports an important industry. Forest Nova Scotia is the largest forestry membership organization in the province, including everyone from small private woodlot owners to large mills. Its mission: to advocate on behalf of the sector to ensure healthy, productive forests for all.
