WestRock factory workers are on lockdown. In La Tuque, 250 employees of the WestRock plant were locked out by the employer after voting for a 24-hour strike mandate. Negotiations have been underway since Tuesday morning, in the presence of a conciliator.

The employer's offers do not meet the expectations of our members. It's a stalemate on monetary offers, said Unifor union national representative Steeve St-Pierre.
