Kristina Schauman has been appointed as a member of Ahlstrom’s Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee.

Kristina is an independent board professional with extensive experience in leading Audit Committees. She is currently a member of the board of directors in several listed companies, including Viaplay Group, AFRY, Coor, and BEWi ASA, and for the private companies Danads AB and Ellos. She serves as Chair of the Audit Committee in AFRY, Coor, BEWi ASA and Ellos.

In addition to her board roles, Kristina has deep experience in the industrial manufacturing industry and has held several leading positions in industries such as engineering, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. Most recently, she has been CFO for Billerud, Apoteket, Carnegie Investment Bank, and OMX.

Kristina is a partner and owner of advisory firm Calea AB and a member of the advisory board of MVI Fund I and II, Nordic buy-out funds focusing on investing in small caps in the private market.

Kristina is a Swedish citizen and has a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.
