J.D. Irving, Limited has been awarded Atlantic Business Magazine’s Employers of Diversity Award for the second year. The award recognizes the company’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

“In our ‘Road Map to Inclusion’ Strategy, we emphasize the importance of developing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) skill sets, which led to the launch of a DEI certificate program for all employees,” highlights Jessica Madia, Director of Diversity, and Inclusion. Since 2020, 5,200+ employees participated in DEI training opportunities.
As JDI continues its DEI journey, it remains committed to strengthening communities across its operations. The company has introduced Employee Resource Groups to support traditionally marginalized groups and foster a sense of belonging among employees. JDI actively seeks opportunities to sponsor and participate in community events that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
