In an unprecedented time of global uncertainty, Ontario’s forest industry is continuing to provide employment and materials vital to the supply chains provincially and beyond.

“Ontario was actually the first jurisdiction in Canada (on March 23) to declare forestry an essential workplace,” said Jamie Lim, president and chief executive officer of the Ontario Forest Industries Association.
