Paperex, the largest paper industry event in the world organized by Hyve in India opened its doors to welcome business visitors from December 3-6, 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. Hyve created a history by organising the first event in the new exhibition halls of Pragati Maidan.

India is the largest growing paper market in the world and globally the focus of foreign paper manufacturers. The paper industry is undergoing various changes and developing with exciting prospects for new growth. The industry is going through the most substantial transformation it has seen in many decades. Paperex 2019, the 14th edition of World’s Largest Paper Show and co-located events: - WORLD OF PAPER 2019 - International Exhibition on Paper, Printing, Packaging Publishing and Allied Industries, CORRUGEX 2019 -International Exhibition & Conference on Corrugated Box, Machinery, Technology & Allied Industries & TISSUEEX 2019 - International Exhibition on Tissue Products, Machinery & Technologies became a huge success with participation of total 608 leading exhibitors from 28 countries & active support from both Indian and International Paper Industry and Associations. The event was built on the exceptionally good response and attracted 29,628 Focused Business Visitors from pan India and various countries. International Group Participation from China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, etc was also witnessed.

The much-anticipated 4 days event showcased latest technology, machinery and raw material for paper & board manufacturing: complete paper mill machinery, automation & instrumentation, bearing & accessories, boilers & turbines, industrial gears, rolls & rollers, pumps valves & systems, quality control equipment & system, raw material handling, stock preparation equipment, testing equipment’s, transport & material handling. A special handmade paper pavilion under the umbrella of KVIC showcased exclusive display of handmade paper and products made by the paper units from various parts of the country. The live demonstration of manufacturing of handmade paper was also been made.

A High-Level Technical Conference on “Pulp and Paper Industry: Strategies for Sustainable Growth” was also organized by Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association (IARPMA). The 3-day conference kicked off on first

day with the welcome address by Mr. Pramod Agarwal, President, IARPMA. High-profile paper industry leaders came under one roof & addressed some crucial issues related to prospects of Indian paper industry in the coming decade, digital technology in paper manufacturing, innovations and new developments in fibreline and papermaking, wood and agro-based paper-making, nano materials, packaging and board-making, minerals and printing. The full session provided a perfect environment to network and share views about the latest market trends and happenings of the paper industry.

Another Concurrent Open Seminar on “Corrugated Packaging Industry- A SWOT for Future” was organized in support with Packaging Industry Association of India (PIAI). The seminar brought together leaders from corrugated & allied industries on one platform to exchange their experience and expertise. The in-depth discussion focused on industry topics like Design Innovations in Corrugated Box Industry Latest Developments of Corrugated Fibre Board Boxes, Selecting Productive Machinery, SWOT Analysis on the Industry , Good Manufacturing Practices – A Way

to Better Profit­ability, also provides an excellent ambience for fellowship, New Age Automation for Corrugated Packaging Solutions, Corrugated Printing: Inks & substrates / Digital Printing, Evolving Business Model in Corrugation Industry, Innovation in Kraft Paper for Packaging Industry and Corrugated Box Testing Methods to Ensure Quality.

Various Business Networking & Information Lounges (BNIL) were also operational at site to network & conduct meetings with your business clients.

On this occasion the Potential and Initiatives of Paper industry was also highlighted amongst the mass audience as part of a Special Campaign “I Love Paper”.
