Fort Mill-based Domtar takes big third-quarter loss due to restructuring, cost-cutting measures

On Domtar Corp.'s second-quarter earnings call earlier this year, company leaders announced they would aim to cut $200 million in annual spending by the end of the year.

The company also said it would reduce its workforce by nearly 800 employees as part of a larger restructuring and cost-cutting plan.
