FSC Canada welcomes back Orrin Quinn as Regional Manager, Western Canada

Over the years Orrin has worked as a Forestry Extension Officer at UNBC and as a forestry consultant to Tanizul Timber, Canadian Forest Products, Ministry of Forests, and several others. He has also spent the last 3 years at KPMG as their lead auditor on forest certification and carbon engagements.

In 2013, he spent 6 years managing the FSC initiative at Ecotrust Canada where he grew Ecotrust’s FSC Group certificate to over 50 members, including 40 chain-of-custody and several wood lot and private land certificates.

In 2011, Orrin joined FSC Canada’s Board of Directors as a social chamber representative and took on the role of Treasurer.

Orrin holds a degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Northern BC, holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, Executive Manager from Royal Roads University and is a professional forester.

Orrin is the newest member of the FSC Canada team and will focus on coordinating regional uptake of Forest Management certification and supply chain development in Western Canada. Orrin will officially start with FSC Canada, beginning April 6, 2021.
